We are now looking for a Communication Manager to join our Communication team. The incumbent will be responsible for:
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, the Communication Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated internal and external communication strategies that protect and enhance corporate reputation, strengthen stakeholder trust, and support business growth across priority markets.
Operating within a complex, fast-moving global FMCG environment, this role requires a deep understanding of consumer goods dynamics, regulatory sensitivity, sustainability communications, and multi-market coordination. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and a guardian of brand and corporate narrative consistency across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate & External Communications
Develop and execute an European corporate communications strategy aligned with business priorities and brand positioning.
Position the company as a thought leader in key topics such as health and nutrition, sustainable growth, responsible FMCG through proactive storytelling.
Lead media engagement strategy across European markets.
Draft and oversee press releases, executive speeches, opinion pieces, media Q&As, and stakeholder briefings.
Support senior leaders in high-profile interviews, public appearances, and industry events.
Manage relationships with key journalists, industry commentators, and external stakeholders.
Oversee agency partners to ensure delivery of high-impact, insight-driven campaigns.
2. Crisis & Issues Management
Develop and maintain robust crisis communication frameworks across the region.
Lead real-time issues response.
Provide rapid advisory support to senior stakeholders during sensitive situations.
3. ESG, Sustainability & Corporate Reputation
Lead purpose communication around health, nutrition, and responsible sourcing commitments.
Translate ESG strategy into compelling, credible narratives for employees, customers, NGOs, and consumers.
Monitor reputation risk and stakeholder sentiment across priority markets.
Prepare reputation dashboards and executive briefings for leadership teams.
4. Digital & Social Corporate Presence
Lead corporate digital channels and executive visibility strategy, especially on Linkedin.
Ensure consistent global messaging across owned platforms, and manage the official corporate website.
Monitor digital conversations, media coverage, and stakeholder discourse.
Use analytics tools to measure engagement, sentiment, and impact.
5. Internal & Change Communication
Design and deliver an annual internal communication strategy aligned with business transformation priorities.
Support change management communications across EU region.
Develop leadership messaging for townhalls, business updates, and strategic announcements.
Partner with HR to reinforce culture, inclusion, and employer brand positioning.
Multimedia skills are a must (video and image editing, slide design, etc.).

Minimum 6 years’ experience in Corporate Communications within a global/EU FMCG company (mandatory). Preferred food company experience.
Demonstrated experience working in complex, matrixed, multinational environments.
Strong background in reputation management and crisis communications.
Proven experience advising senior leadership teams.
Experience managing multi-market communication campaigns.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong executive presence and ability to influence at senior levels.
Deep understanding of FMCG consumer dynamics, regulatory environments, and sustainability expectations.
High emotional intelligence and stakeholder management capability.

Ability to operate under pressure in fast-paced, high-visibility situations.
Experience working across European markets.
Fluent English (native or equivalent).
Fluent Spanish (native or equivalent).
Additional European languages are advantageous.
