Job description:

The RGM Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for sustainable sales growth through pricing, promotion optimization, assortment control, and channel management. The goal is to identify and implement profitable growth opportunities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and implementation of an optimal pricing strategy: Development of strategic recommended retail prices (RSP) for each category, taking into account internal profitability, price elasticity, and international price corridors.
  • Designing a demand-oriented price-pack architecture: Analyzing different consumer needs and developing tailor-made price-pack combinations to maximize market potential and profitability.
  • Promotion optimization: Developing and implementing promotional strategies that maximize sales and profitability, taking into account market dynamics and consumer preferences.
  • Maximizing product profitability: Through assortment design, shelf placement, and activation in close collaboration with category management, commercial, and marketing teams.
  • Assortment optimization: Developing assortment plans together with the commercial team and ensuring their integration into channel strategies.
  • Optimization of trade terms: Development and implementation of customer-specific trade terms (e.g., discounts, bonuses, payment terms) that meet both commercial goals and profitability requirements while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  • Sparring partner for sales and (trade) marketing: Support in assessing the financial impact of negotiation decisions and optimizing opportunities.
  • Development of compelling storylines: To promote the effective implementation of the market strategy and maximize growth potential.
  • Must have project management experience (PMP).

Requisitos


Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Pricing, or Controlling.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Nielsen, IRI, SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex topics clearly and understandably.
  • Experience in FMCG or retail environments is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English.

Minimum Education: University degree  

Experience: 5–7 years in similar roles
