Purpose of Role:
The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage maintenance works to ensure efficient, safe, and timely execution.
Results / Accountabilities
1. Manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support.
2. Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, plans, and preventive maintenance programs.
4. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruptions to operations.
5. Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
6. Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
7. Coordinate and perform repairs on equipment and machinery.
8. Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
9. Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
10. Maintain documentation related to safety procedures and compliance.
11. Monitor and manage spare parts and equipment inventory.
12. Provide training and development opportunities to maintenance staff.
13. Keep the team updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
14. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
15. Generate reports to track maintenance performance and costs.
