Role:

Reporting to the Engineering and Projects Director,

The Digitalization Manager will be responsible for developing an industrial landscape that is modern and delivers on the key benefits of Industry 4.0 in line with the goals of our shareholders and board.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digitalization and Industry 4.0 strategies that align with the overall business goals.

Technology Integration:

  • Oversee the implementation and integration of core technologies such as cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), AI, big data analytics, and cloud computing into manufacturing and business processes.

Process Optimization:

  • Drive the automation and optimization of manufacturing and supply chain processes to improve efficiency, productivity and product quality.

Data Management:

  • Establish robust data collection, classification and analysis capabilities to support real-time decision-making and performance monitoring.

Change Management and Leadership:

  • Lead organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning and ensuring effective collaboration between IT and operational teams.

Requirements

Behavorial & Techincal  Skills

  • BSc or MSc Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in project management, digital transformation, or a relevant industrial sector (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain).
  • Minimum seve (7) years’ of experience in engineering and project management.
  • Proven experience in factory automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Working knowledge of industrial IT systems (industrial software, IoT platforms).
  • Hands-on experience with relevant software and platforms (e.g., ERP systems like SAP S4 HANA, Salesforce CRM, Flexi Capture SDK).
  • FMCG or manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills are crucial for handling conflicts, allocating resources, and driving innovation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent team playing and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
