Oversee all maintenance activities in the factory including Cooking Aid Plant, Wet Condiment Plant, Facility Management to ensure optimal equipment performance across board.
Ensure alignment of maintenance activities with production goals and industrial standards.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of equipment failures.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Provide direction and support to downline managers and engineers.
Monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.
Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor contracts.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety and implement as advised by Top Management.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
Lead audits and inspections related to equipment and facility maintenance.
Final Negotiation with vendors to ensure best price and quality
Liaise with HR in the training and recruitment of Maintenance/Engineering personnels.
Coaching and Mentoring of Maintenance Engineers and Technicians as required for optimal productivity
Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance with operational goals.
Ensure accuracy of maintenance records activities and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Responsible for procurement of Engineering parts/service with OEM and vendors
Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
Prepare and present factory maintenance performance reports to management as required
Perform all other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s is a plus)
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in industrial/factory maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex maintenance operations
Strong understanding of automation systems, preventive maintenance, and lean manufacturing principles
Familiarity with food processing equipment is an advantage.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
