Purpose of Role

To ensure efficient and accurate management of stock levels, inventory records, and stock movements to support uninterrupted production and supply chain operations.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely transfer of stock from the production floor to the warehouse
  • Ensure incoming stocks are checked, processed, and stored in the proposed location physically and in the system
  • Ensure that the put-away and retrieval of SKUs in the racking system align with the FEFO strategy, ensuring end-to-end traceability using batch codes.
  • Liaise with Quality to ensure the timely retrieval and sorting of products to meet customer demand
  • Prioritize customer orders in line with requests from customer service, ensuring that all other teams are aware of the priorities.
  • Conduct weekly stock reconciliations to ensure zero discrepancy in anticipation of the monthly stock count
  • Update inventory databases, systems, or spreadsheets to reflect stock transactions, adjustments, and movements.
  • Manage stock rotation, shelf-life tracking, and expiry date monitoring for goods.
  • Maintain discipline to ensure 100% compliance with SAP WMS process flows.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Minimum HND/BSc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Relevant professional certification is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years’ progressive work experience in similar role.
  • Experience in Inventory and Warehouse Management.

Preferred skills:

  • Excellent leadership ability and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on many tasks at the same time while keeping excellent organizational skills.
  • Very strong computer skills.
  • Strong communicator (both oral & written).
  • Highly motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving organizational and personal goals.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment (co-workers, suppliers, etc.).
