Job Purpose: The Product Manager role assists the Category Managers formulate a brand's long-term strategy and implement marketing campaigns. The role focuses on managing correspondence, supporting marketing strategies and campaigns, collating insights from market visits and analyzing research data, and detecting brand growth opportunities, Handling Post launch evaluation, Post activity evaluation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Flawlessly implement and execute marketing activities to support business objectives.
  • Develop understanding of key targets to implement promotional plans within the aligned activity calendar and marketing programs that will increase saliency, penetration, visibility, and drive velocity.
  • Assist in the design and support seasonal promotions, new product and program launches, and innovative marketing initiatives to drive volume and relationships.
  • Assist Category Managers develop innovative programs and pitch partnerships to incubate new products and drive total brand awareness to drive demand.
  • Capture and Synthesize consumer insights and secondary market insights from regularly testing, market research to inform and optimize product quality and market rotations.
  • Supervising assigned activations and being able to do a post evaluation of these activities.
  • Assist in developing artworks for POS materials and signage, sales collateral, and sales presentations, ensuring adherence to all brand guidelines.
  • Assist Media manager to outline and track KPIs for digital for fiscal year and campaign specific deliverables.
  • Assist and manage agency status meetings, competitor reviews, yearly strategy reverts from agency.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activity both above the line and below the line.
  • Support the administrative process of collating POs, contracts invoices and monitor the job executions and completion to ensure on-time delivery and payment of vendors.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Education

  • Relevant Degree or Professional certificate in Marketing.

Skills and Experience

  • 2 years’ minimum experience in a marketing role is an advantage.
  • Relevant marketing experience
  • Basic knowledge of marketing vehicles and fundamentals.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and financial metrics, including sales, return on investments, and profit and loss.
  • Resourceful with a drive to push activities to deliver growth – ability to think strategically, but not afraid of tactical execution; ability to work with limited resources.
  • Must be detailed-oriented with strong people skills.
  • Must be able to work in a matrix environment, able to collaborate with all category managers and cross-functionally and be a strong collaborator.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to lead a small team and collaborate with brand and agency partners.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
