We are now looking for an Import & Export Logistics Technician to join our passionate Import/Export and Logistics team in the Global Operations Business Unit.
Based in our headquarters office in Barcelona, the selected candidate will play a key role in managing the import-export process from transport to final destination under the Global Business Unit.

 

About the Role:
Responsible for sending raw materials and final products from the company’s different factories
to other factories or clients which are located in different countries and regions form the origin.
The Import
-Export Logistics Technician will stay in contact with the Planning department to coordinate availability according to the Supply Chain established needs. Responsible to manage all the import-export process (transportation to final destination).
In chare of booking freight with operators and coordinating the maritime transport form the port to
the country of destination.
Together with Global Procurement, ensure the supply of materials from its purchase or production
to final destination, optimizing cost and service to guarantee the quality and integrity of the stock.

Responsibilities:

Management of import and export trade operations
Process legal exemptions, allowances and regulatory licenses as well as other government approvals for import and export operations
Process management and verification of import-export customs clearances
Manage supply according to supply chain needs
Documentary and administrative management
Negotiation with suppliers and/or internal stakeholders
Maintain a close relationship between agents, transporters and merchandisers to guarantee total visibility of import and export movements
Logistics planning and management
 

Requirements

Qualifications

ESCI-UPF
International Business Economics or Trade
Fluent English and Spanish both spoken and written (C1), other languages are a plus

3 years of experience in maritime transport and foreign trade
Office package: Excel, Power point
Power BI will be valued
Experience managing SAP
Experience working in other food companies is valued
