About the Business Analytics and Insights Manager opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analytics & Insights Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making processes and providing valuable insights to optimize business performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to drive strategic initiatives.

 

Key Result Areas

•   You will lead in the definition and implementation of a data analytics strategy to clean, organize, and analyse complex data sets, transforming them into actionable business and market insights that drive growth and inform the innovation funnel.
•    You will establish and maintain robust and scalable data reporting and visualization tools, creating high-impact dashboards and reports that communicate key insights across different business units.
•    You will partner with senior leadership to align analytics and insights initiatives with business objectives, driving a deep understanding of consumer and market behaviour to identify strategic opportunities.
•    You will provide thought leadership on the latest trends in data analytics and consumer insights, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to business leaders.
•    You will champion data literacy across the organization, promoting a culture of data-driven and consumer-centric decision-making through training and stakeholder engagement.
•    You will collaborate closely with Information technology, data engineering, external agencies and marketing teams to enhance data infrastructure, integrate systems, and leverage data for innovation.
•    You will manage vendor relationships and evaluate external data and analytics tools to ensure high return-on-investment (ROI) and effectiveness.
•    You iwll play a key role in the company's digital transformation by leveraging analytics and insights to create competitive market advantages.

 

 

Requirements

Qualification & Experience

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Market Research, Marketing or other business related degree.
•    A minimum of 5+ years of relevant leadership experience in data analysis, insights, and reporting, with a strong preference for FMCG industry experience (Foods, Home or Personal care).
•    Experience extracting and applying consumer, shopper, and market insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation.
•    International experience, including data and reporting responsibilities across Africa, is highly valued.
•    Fluency in written and spoken Spanish & English; French is an added advange.
